Overview
Walk in the front door and witness the craft of making Detroit’s finest whiskey. The smell of grain, the shine of copper stills, and the sounds of distillers at work immerse you in a modern day factory. Take the freight elevator up to the second floor to our rickhouse and you’re transported to another world. Here you’ll find The Whiskey Factory’s 5,000 square foot historical event space. The industrial yet refined space is lined with aging whiskey barrels, providing an intimate setting where 200 guests may sit for dinner or 250 may stroll throughout the distinguished event space.
Along the back wall of the venue, guests may gather around an original 1920’s Detroit vintage bar to partake in Detroit City Distillery spirits. Whatever your experience may be, The Whiskey Factory will provide a spirits package to enhance it. We are home to Detroit City Distillery and the venue for you to experience a city and its craft.
We’ve thoughtfully designed artisanal spirit packages that will complement your culinary experience provided by our exclusive catering partner at Two Unique Catering. SPIRITS EXPERIENCE PACKAGES
The Whiskey Factory is home to the Detroit City Distillery, creator of small batch artisanal whiskey, gin and vodka using the finest local ingredients sourced directly from farms near this historic location. Served at every event, let us share our craft to elevate your event experience.
The Riopelle Tasting Room Experience
Guests will enjoy the same classic and original cocktails available at Detroit City Distillery’s Riopelle Tasting Room in Eastern Market. This menu changes seasonally. Guests can also call for any Detroit City Distillery spirit and mixer for all your simple classics like gin and tonic or whiskey ginger. This package also includes a selection of three beers on tap.
Artisanal Batch Cocktail Experience
Select your three favorite artisanal batch cocktails and we’ll serve them all night long. This package also includes a selection of three beers on tap. Guests can also call for any Detroit City Distillery spirit and mixer for all your simple classics like gin and tonic, vodka soda or our favorite, whiskey neat.

Whiskey Tasting Experience: Sampling of Butcher’s Cut Bourbon, Homegrown Rye, Bloodline Whiskey + one selection of single barrel experimental whiskies.
Bespoke Gin & Tonic Bar: Six of our small batch gins paired with tonics and garnishes in traditional Spanish fashion.

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN YOUR VENUE ACCOMMODATE?
Invite 250 of your closest friends, family or co-workers for a strolling dinner with a DJ and room for a dance floor. Otherwise, start moving people over to the B list and we’ll accommodate 200 guests for a seated dinner with a band and room for a dance floor.
