EXPERIENCE AN EXCLUSIVE BEHIND THE SCENE TOUR AND TASTING OF THE WHISKEY FACTORY AT THE HISTORIC HOME OF STROH'S ICE CREAM AND GOEBEL BREWING CO.
Come for a tour, a taste and exploration of where distilling meets history. See first hand how our artisanal spirits are made. In our walking tour, participants will learn about the art and science of the distilling process from grain to glass all while sipping on our artisanal cocktails. We'll talk history and sample a range of our small batch spirits including vodka, gin, and, of course.... whiskey.
Our tours are held on Saturdays at 11AM, 1pm and require a reservation. We ask that you arrive on time or no more than 10 minutes before the tour starts, but don’t worry we’ll have our signature cocktails waiting for you upon your arrival.

Interested in a Private Tour and Tasting?
The perfect option for small corporate or group outings. Private tours are just $30 per person with minimum $300 spend. Subject to availability.

In case you were wondering….
What time should I arrive for the tour?
We kindly ask that you arrive on time or no more than 10 minutes early so that we can get a cocktail in your hand before the tour starts. Much like our spirits, our signature cocktails are our art form, which should never be rushed.
Do I get to taste all the spirits?
Yes, we like our guests to enjoy themselves, responsibly of course. We advise you not to come on the tour with an empty stomach and encourage a designated driver or safe ride home.
Can I buy your spirits after the tour?
Of course. Spirits taste better when you buy them straight from the source. Looking to buy a case or more? Contact us before the tour at events@whiskeyfactorydetroit.com and we'll get it boxed up and ready to go.
How do I sign up for a tour?
By reserving your spot here. It’s that easy! All tour reservations are made online.
How many people are on each tour?
We limit our tours to an intimate group of 30 so we encourage you to sign up in advance. Do you have a larger group? Contact us at events@whiskeyfactorydetroit.com to discuss accommodations.
How long does the tour last?
You will have the pleasure of drinking and learning more from our distillery staff for the duration of 1-1.5 hours.
